Why I created Pine Ridge
For much of my life, I did what I thought I was supposed to do. I built a career, married my best friend, raised two amazing kids and worked hard to create a good life for my family. From the outside, I had every reason to feel successful.
But somewhere along the way, I began to feel disconnected from myself. I spent too much time in my head, thinking about the past, worrying about the future and wondering why the career I had worked so hard to build wasn't bringing me the sense of meaning and fulfillment I expected.
Losing both of my parents changed the way I looked at my life. It forced me
to confront how limited our time really is and begin asking harder questions: What actually makes me happy? Who am I beyond my career and responsibilities? What do I want the next chapter of my life to look like?
My own experiences with psychedelics became an important part of exploring those questions. They didn't give me all the answers, but they helped me step outside familiar patterns, see my life from a different perspective and reconnect with parts of myself I had lost along the way.
That journey became part of the inspiration for Pine Ridge Farm & Sanctuary—a quiet, private place for people who have spent years building careers, raising families, and taking care of everyone around them, but now find themselves wondering, "How do I want to live the rest of my life?"
I don't have all the answers nor am I here to tell you who you should become. I'm here to offer a supportive space to slow down, look inward and explore what comes next.
Because sometimes a new direction doesn't begin with having the answers. It begins with finally giving yourself the space to ask the questions.
